Four stories about love: ship's cook Udo Klüterjahn gets the love tingles. Normally it is himself who fishes for women with his sailboat and precious food. But then he meets Bettina. Will he get entangled in her nets? The jealous girlfriend of Bettina, the department head of the textile company, Renate Mauerbusch, has very different concerns. Her landlord Reitstock often "mistakes" and then sticks his head around her door. Renate pays more attention to her co-resident Dr. Biebermann. Renate devises a plan with Mrs. Reitstock. dr. Biebermann is the last hope for his secretary Gabriele Metzke. Will she find marital bliss in a marriage advertisement? Professor Kallmann is on his way for the same thing when they meet. The young, desirable Liane also works in this company and arouses the jealousy of her colleagues. Will the new BGL, company president and union representative, alone with two children and abandoned by his wife, be the one for Liane?
