"Paramount's wild, merry, mad hilarious farce!"
Clothing designer Joan Wood is heavily in debt. Joan designed costumes for a Broadway show that is exported to Argentina. She wants to pay her debts with the money. But a mistake has been made. She receives the money in Buenos Aires and not in New York. Joan's boyfriend is Wally Wendell. His grandfather Wallace Wendell Sr. does not agree with his relationship with Joan. Wallace wants Wally to marry Constance Cook, but he hasn't seen Constance in several years. However, Constance is one of the passengers on the ship that takes Joan and Wally to Buenos Aires.
