Les Filles de La Rochelle plot

In 1389, the port of La Rochelle is threatened by English invaders. The city, meanwhile, is preparing for the national celebration, initiated by the mayor. They decide to block the entrance to the harbor with a huge chain so that the English cannot enter. But things get out of hand and the Rochelles girls decide to rectify the situation themselves.
