Les Cachetonneurs plot
Roberto, a musician who can be hired, accepts an invitation to play a New Year's Eve concert of chamber music and Viennese waltz in a beautiful castle in Normandy. He puts together a six-member band, but soon realizes he's in trouble. His flautist Thérèse is nine months pregnant and can give birth at any moment. His cellist Lionel is a kleptomaniac. Martial, who plays the viola, is hypersensitive. His violinist, Diana, feels better than everyone else and the clarinetist can't read notes. To complete the party, Svarowski, the conductor, has yet to show up.
