Le Raisin d'Or plot

Baron Jean de Malbray has a profound aversion to work, but a big heart for his friends. It makes sense that he is overloaded with debt. While the neighboring monks toil in their vineyard, the baron prefers to listen to music and regularly organizes lavish parties. The unexpected death of the overseer of his vineyards is therefore a real disaster, because without him there is no harvest.
