Le Jour J plot

In June 1944, shortly before the Normandy landings, Denis Porte works at a British military base that is completely fake. Every day, he moves fake soldiers to mislead the Third Reich troops, as part of the large-scale Operation Fortitude. Although several members of his family have died as heroes for France, Denis's mother doesn't want him to take too many risks. However, Denis meets Sami, an Algerian doctor. The latter dreams of meeting Charles de Gaulle. After a night of drinking, the two men decide to visit the general.
