Le Grand Cirque plot
While visiting a friend in a hospital in Paris, Momo, an actor in distress, meets Michel, the director of an association of volunteer clowns who visit hospitalized children. Thanks to Michel's encouragement and trust, Momo is convinced to play a role in the lives of these children. His challenge: to make them smile despite their illness. Soon the children fall under his cartoonish charm and Momo becomes an integral part of the children's ward. With the help of Michel, his mentor, and Bénédicte, a nurse, Momo comes up with the idea of putting on a circus show in the hospital in which each child will play a leading role...
