Le Bénévole plot

Former trade unionist Birgos escapes from the insane asylum, where he was interned along with Cleo, an eccentric. He finds shelter in the building of a voluntary association where he is believed to be the new director. There he tries to form a syndicate to defend their rights, much to the chagrin of the profiteers who do everything to stand in his way.
