"He was worth $1,000,000 dead... and not a penny alive!"
AC Baker is an advertising representative for an insurance company. Baker approaches test pilot Terry Moore with a proposal for a publicity stunt. In exchange for the use of his portrait and caption, Terry will be paid $1,000 through a one-year policy. Terry, who has a risky profession, agrees. George MacAlister fires his secretary Tracy just as she is typing the policy. Out of spite, Tracy intentionally makes a typo: she changes the amount from $1,000 to $1,000,000. Baker gives the policy to Terry at a party at the 'Frolics Club', without seeing the wrong amount...
