La Valigia dei Sogni plot
An ex-actor saves old films from a factory where film waste is processed and thus gives private screenings. A mistake by his assistant causes a celluloid fire and the former actor is arrested first. However, he is released with the help of a wealthy producer. Ultimately, the fire prompted the government to set up an official film archive.
