La Scarlatine plot
Little Roger Palazzi - ten years old - lives in an old bourgeois apartment building, somewhere in the heart of Paris, and is raised by his mother Nicole, his grandmother Minou and his great-grandmother Génia. The Palazzi are a family of Italian aristocrats, who were expelled from Egypt when it became a republic. The women of this family are all a bit nostalgic and love the pomp of the past. Only Nicole goes to work outside the home and they all fight for the affection of Roger, who wants to escape his suffocating mothering hearth.
