La Sbandata plot

Salvatore Cannavone has been a shoemaker in America for 30 years after emigrating to the United States. When he returns to his native Sicily, he is very well received by his brother Raphaël and his family. During Salvatore's stay in Sicily, a love affair develops between Salvatore and his beautiful cousin Mariuccia. The relationship is tolerated, and even encouraged, by her parents for the economic benefit.
