La Pecora Nera plot
“The psychiatric hospital is a building full of saints. The poor mad prisoners wrapped in their Chinese sheets – industrially made shrouds – are saints, the nun who lights up like a statue of a saint by her nightlight is a saint. And the doctor is still the holiest of all, he is the head of the saints, he is Jesus Christ.” This is how Nicola describes his past 35 years in the “electrical shelter” and in his confused head, reality and fantasy mingle. Nicola was born in the sixties, "the fabulous sixties" and the world he sees from the hospital is not so different from the world outside – an ever more voracious world, where fear is the only thing that is not lacking.
