La Mandragola plot
A man really wants offspring, but his wife turns out to be unable to have children. In a last-ditch effort, he sends her to a doctor. He gives her a herbal mixture, and if she drinks it she will become fertile, but the first man she has sex with will die. Not wanting her husband to die, she decides to sleep with someone else...
