"This kampong is about to turn upside down and...inside out"

“God sees everything,” reads the posters spread across Kampong Bras Basah, a small village ruled by the very religious Tok Hassan. Under this scholar's strict supervision, fashion magazines are hand-censored, sermons are stripped of humor and teenage art is considered a matter for the police. But the order of Tok Hassan's moral domain is threatened when Hanie, a modern entrepreneur from Kuala Lumpur, opens a luxury lingerie store in the village.
