La Cosa Giusta plot

The film is about two police officers; one is a disillusioned veteran and the other is young and idealistic and speaks fluent Arabic. The latter comes in handy to keep an eye on the exonerated Khalid because they suspect him of being connected to Al Qaeda. The two cops, who obviously can't stand each other, get closer and closer to Khalid and, after receiving threats, even become his bodyguards. They get to know him better and better and eventually even become friends with him. But is this wise?
