La Cambiale plot
The Posalaquaglia cousins are two petty crooks who try to make money in all sorts of ways. They steal a 100,000 lire note from the wealthy banker Bruscatelli and shortly afterwards end up in prison. From that moment on, the note takes on a life of its own, going from a homeowner to a dog race, and from a shop girl to a manager of a well-known boxer.
