L'Habit Vert plot

The affable Duchess Maulévrier has a blind husband and a devoted boyfriend, with whom she has an affair. Her husband, the Duke, comes from an old noble family and is a top executive of the Académie Française. Her lover is the famous pianist Parmeline. When they are caught by a servant, she uses an excuse. She explains that the man just wanted to run for a position in the academy and tells her husband that a new secretary needs to be recruited.
