L'Âge Ingrat plot

Two college students, Antoine and Marie, decide that their families should get to know each other better before getting married. Antoine invites Maria's family (they live in Normandie) to stay at his family's home in the south of France. A bad start because both fathers Émile Malhouin (Jean Gabin) and Adolphe Lartigue (Fernandel) immediately start arguing, and the situation gets even worse when Antoine and Marie also argue.
