Kitty MacKay plot

Kitty MacKay endures the cruelty of her adopted aunt and uncle in Scotland until she is brought to England by her guardian, Lord Inglehart. There Kitty falls in love with his son. When he learns that because of his father's past escapade the girl is actually his sister, the boy denies her love and she returns sad to Scotland and slavery.
