Kid's Clever plot

Bugs Raymond, inventor of a car with a fuelless engine, meets Ruth Decker, the daughter of an engine manufacturer. Ruth persuades her father John Decker to attend a demonstration of Bugs' car. However, a rival salesman bribes Bugs' mechanic to tamper with the engine and the demonstration turns into a total failure. Bugs learns of this sabotage the next day, and he and Ruth forcibly try to convince old Decker to drive the car again.
