It's Christmas! plot

After the death of her mother-in-law Mary, Charlie hatches a plan. She will pretend to her husband Wesley and his family that Mary has left a list of rules for the family to follow in the run-up to Christmas. Believing that Mary has left instructions to heal the wounds of grief, the family comes together and begins to faithfully follow the rules.
