Don Martin (Michael O'Shea) is a very good and popular ice hockey player for the Wildcats. Because he strikes an umpire during a match, he is suspended and not allowed to play any more matches. Chris Linden (Sonja Henie) gets Don a job at Buzz Fletcher's ice cream show and she trains him until he is very good and becomes important to the show. The two decide to get married and all is well until another female privateer arrives at the shore and also shows an interest in Don.
