Isola Bella plot

Consul Stülcken, owner of Hamburger Stülckenwerft, wants his beautiful daughter Anne, who studied art history abroad for years, to marry. He invites his most skilled engineer Hubert Bergmann, in whom he sees a suitable suitor, to stay in his holiday home in Ticino. But the girl first wants to thoroughly investigate whether this man is really interested in her and not in her father's property.
