Il Giovane Normale plot
A naive young man from Milan goes on a world tour with a backpack. He walks and lifts, meeting many people. He soon travels with three elderly Americans. One of them is a sensual woman with whom he starts a relationship. They travel through Morocco, Spain and France. When he really falls in love with the American, she appears to see him as a rookie, with whom she has an innocent short and intense sexual affair. The young man becomes moody and unhappy.
