"See Hollywood as it was in 1913! Watch it grow to what it is today!"
When Michael Linnett Connors meets Broadway double Molly Adair in 1913, he decides to make her a Hollywood celebrity. Despite the fact that she is in love with him, she marries an opponent. Connors doesn't take this too well and fires her. Adair has already become a real star, so Connors only damages his own career.
