Hollywood plot
When Angela Whitaker (Hope Drown) comes to Hollywood, she has only two things, her dream to become a movie star and her grandfather. She leaves behind her aunt, grandmother and her childhood sweetheart in Centerville. Despite all her efforts, she still has a film role at the end of the first day. Back at the hotel, she learns with great dismay that her grandfather has been cast for a role in a William DeMille film. In the following weeks, her grandfather even grows into a true movie hero. Angela's family gets worried and comes to Hollywood to take them home. But soon aunt, grandmother, childhood friend and even their parrot are roped in for a movie role. Except for Angela, who still hasn't found a job...
