Highway to Hellas plot
German tourists are usually quite popular in Greece. The problem with Jörg Geissner is that he doesn't come as a tourist. His mission is to investigate whether there is really collateral for loans granted long ago. He quickly becomes a thorn in the side of the inhabitants of the Greek island of Paladiki, especially the supermarket owner Panos tries to throw a spanner in the works. Because of the obstacles, Geissner starts a real odyssey and as he keeps driving back and forth, there are several obstacles in his way. So for him this is clearly not the alleged holiday paradise.
