Het 14e Kippetje plot

Ironic tragicomedy about young people, family and friendship in contemporary Amsterdam. Daniel and Francesca are getting married. Martin, their mutual childhood friend, organizes a festive dinner for friends and family for the occasion. However, Daniel and Francesca have forgotten the address and roam the city in search of the right restaurant. The invitees meanwhile while away the time practicing the party song, gossiping about the couple-to-be, playing cards and an eating contest. As time goes by, the conversations take surprising turns. The 14th chicken is based on a screenplay by Arnon Grunberg. With this, the writer makes his debut as a screenwriter.
