On a beautiful summer day in Wiltshire, David Chaytor and Janet Royd decide to tie the knot and announce their wedding. Unfortunately, that is the signal for a lot of other people to take the reins, including Janet's father who makes his disapproval clear. Everyone has their own opinion about the bridal couple and about the course of the wedding, if it was allowed to take place at all.
