Happy Holidays plot

Three childhood friends from Connecticut reunite after years just before Christmas. They have changed a lot since childhood and each has a very different outlook on life. Alden recently converted to Judaism. He lives in Chicago, but is constantly on the road and has trouble committing. Kirby is a staunch Catholic. He lives in Baltimore with his wife and children and is in town for the funeral of his father, with whom he had little contact. Patrick still lives in his parents' house and is one of the few openly gay men in town. Together, the three men reminisce about the past for two days.
