Happy Hearts plot

Alvin and Kristine are two young people whose paths cross when he returns from the United States to be closer to his father, who is estranged from his mother. But his return comes as a surprise to his father, who wants to hide his true sexual orientation and his relationship with another man. As a professor, he wants to keep up appearances, because he thinks that this is how he can maintain the respect of his students. But how will things turn out when Alvin and Kristine fall madly in love and decide to run away from home? And things don't get any easier when it turns out that Kristine's father turns out to be the principal of the school where Alvin's father teaches.
