Happy Ever After plot
The whole village is in mourning when it is revealed that General O'Leary, the owner of a large hunting ground in the south of Ireland, has been killed in an accident. His cousin, the tyrannical Jasper O'Leary, soon takes over the hunting grounds, much to the dismay of the locals, with the exception of the unpopular scheming Serena McGluskey. Led by Thady O'Heggarty, the villagers plan to evict Jasper. Rumors are being spread about General O'Leary's ghost that haunts the nights.
