Wang Tiemei, a single mother, moves in with her young daughter Molly in hopes of a fresh start. In her new environment, she develops an unexpected relationship with Xiao Ye, a die-hard romantic whose worldview is diametrically opposed to hers. Despite their differences, the two women find solace and strength in their friendship. They help each other heal the wounds of the past and face the challenges of the present.
