Gringalet plot

Lucien Bavaud is a widower and industrialist. He has a son, Philippe, who can be counted among the worst idiots and bunglers. He has a natural son elsewhere, Francis, nicknamed “Gringalet” who is one of the nicest and most loving children. One day, the industrialist takes Francis into his house. Philippe rears up and contacts his half-brother. When Francis falls in love with Josette, Philippe's fiancée, further problems arise.
