Germaine Morris loses her job at a prestigious decorating firm. It seems that the owner of the company, Gerald Gray, has a policy against hiring beautiful girls, because such ladies always leave when they tie the knot. So Germaine consciously decides to dress like a dowdy dishcloth. It's all part of her plan to win Gerald Gray's heart.
