Glückskinder plot

Germany before the war. Journalist Gil (Willy Fritsch) is head over heels married to the beautiful bum Ann (Lilian Harvey). He doesn't do this directly out of love, but to protect her from a judicial conviction. He is fired by his newspaper, but finds out that Ann is of very wealthy descent.
