"Silent comedy"
Mary is the stepdaughter of a millionaire, but is treated like dirt by her family. She is not even allowed to have relationships because she will lose her inheritance if she ever gets married. However, Mary chooses happiness over wealth and marries a man. It turns out that she is getting richer and richer, while her family is deteriorating financially.
