Free and Easy plot
"I Can't Give You Anything but LOVE!"
Max and his father Florian are both looking for a rich woman to marry, but they don't have a cent of their own. Max meets Martha, but she turns out not to be rich and then Martha is proposed to by the rich Sir Kelvin. The next day she changes her mind and still wants to marry Max. Meanwhile, Florian finds himself in debt when he tries to make money by gambling for Max and Martha's wedding. Max finds out and then wants to marry the wealthy Joan to keep Florian out of prison, but he is not in love with Joan.
