"Tells the Men all about the Women!"
Stanley has just written his first play which attracts the attention of star actress Beatrice and her ex-husband, the theater producer Harry. Harry makes sure that the lead actress ages so that he can cast Beatrice instead of Sally, for whom the part was written. Many protests follow and the situation becomes even more complicated when both women fall in love with Stanley. Harry must try to get things right, both for the play and for love.
