Flying Luck plot
A young man, who sees the pilot Charles Lindbergh as his hero, buys a written-off biplane, rebuilds this plane and learns about flying in 'Ten Easy Lessons by Mail'. But his first test flight ends in a crash: through the roof of the Army recruiting office, inspiring the young man to enlist. En route to the military training camp, the young man ends up in the retinue of a foreign dignitary through a series of entanglements. The young man is accepted as a friend of the stranger who does not speak English. The mistake is revealed during the banquet and the young man is then handed over to the sergeant, who puts him to work in the stables.
