Finding Lenny plot

"Everything happens for a reason"

On his fiftieth birthday, Lenny Vincent is fired as a sports journalist for a newspaper. His 19-year-old wife leaves him for a much younger man, and Lenny and his best friend Dave are taken hostage by a gang who have robbed a restaurant. They are later left behind in a village in the countryside. He meets the local chef and embarks on the adventure of a lifetime. Among other things, by reuniting the chef's sons.
