Ferdinand le Noceur plot
A wealthy old man selects a virtuous worker as a husband for his daughter, who, however, has a frivolous nature and sees nothing in her dull fiancée. A misunderstanding surrounding fiery love letters that he seems to have written, she suspects that he has a secret life as a womanizer and thus begins to see him through different eyes.
