Fan Fan plot

The son of the Japanese emperor Hanki Pan is in love with the beautiful Fan Fan and determined to marry her, although his father has decided that he will marry the old and honorable Lady Shoo, an ugly witch. Hanki Pan and Fan Fan run away and find work as entertainers in the Wisteria Gardens. Lady Shoo and Fan Fan's rejected suitor, an executioner, give chase and try to capture the young lovers.
