Estrellados plot

Spanish version of 'Free and Easy'. Elvira de Rosas has won a beauty pageant in her hometown of Rioseco, Kansas. Her prize is a trip to Hollywood. Accompanied by her mother and the timid Canuto Cuadratín, who acts as her business manager, she goes to Hollywood. On the train to California, Elvira is lucky enough to meet famous movie star Larry Mitchell. She is introduced to the management of the Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer studios. Although he is not allowed to enter the studios, Canuto becomes involved in a recording of a scene in which he is regarded as an actor, with disastrous results.
