Enchanted April plot

Neglected by her husband and writer Mellersh Wilkins, Lotty decides to rent an Italian castle in April with her best friend Rose Arbuthnot. Rose expects, like Lotty, to escape the dull married life with the pompous lawyer Henry Arbuthnot in this way. Also disappointed in the marriage, Mrs. Fisher and the young Countess Lady Caroline accompany them to Italy. For 30 days in April, the ladies experience all kinds of unexpected and complicated entanglements.
