Eli’s Coming plot

Joshua is about to have his bar mitzvah. Especially since it is expected of him, although he is not sure if he still believes in God. His fierce religious uncle Sol does his best to prepare him for the ceremony, but Joshua rebels and runs away. He chooses to stay with his atheist uncle Ned. Soon he will be disappointed by both uncles, after which Joshua seeks advice from an unusual source.
