Egomaniac plot

Filmmaker Catherine Sweeney is determined to make a movie. She plans to make a romantic comedy with some horror elements. Several people come up with the idea that Catherine should show a talking dog in the film. However, this entails the necessary costs. Catherine struggles with funding and decides to do everything she can to raise the money. She goes so far as to do this at the expense of her own mental health.
