Early to Bed plot
Chester Beatty and Tessie Weeks have been engaged for five years and were together for fifteen years before that. Chester is hesitant to marry Tessie because of his secret problem. He is a sleepwalker. When Tessie finally talks Chester into marriage, he can't get time off from his boss, Mr. Frisbee, for whom he has worked for 26 years. To solve the problem, Chester tries to impress his boss by winning a big glass-eyed sales contract. He takes Tessie and follows wealthy doll company owner Horace B. Stanton to a lakeside resort and befriends him. However, his sleepwalking makes him a prime suspect in a murder case.
