Jane Colwell is a professor who also lectures at an agricultural college. Jane feels that the trained donkey she works with needs rest and takes him to her farm. There she finds a film company that films on location. After some complications, the donkey is allowed to participate in the film. Meanwhile, film producer Mike Burton has fallen in love with Jane.
